National Netball C’ship from 4th

LAHORE: The National Men and Women Netball Championship will be played at Islamabad from May 4 to 7.

The 17th edition of the national championship will be played at PSB Sports Complex. The Sindh Netball association has announced its teams for the championship. Sindh Women netball team is defending champion and defence the honour.

Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi, secretary, sports Department, Govt. of Sindh issued the special grant to Sindh Netball Association for participation in National Netball Championship. The officails of Sindh Netball Association thanks to Dr. Niaz Ali Abbasi for financial support for Sindh teams.

Both team (Men & Women) will departure on today night for Islamabad through train.Women team: Qurat ul Aian (Captain), Nayaz Razia (Vice Captain), Sakina Modi, Yusra Shoaib, Kashia Butt, Sumbal Zohra, Shahbana Moin, Kareena, Humaira Huma, Kanwal and Kareena while Kanza Blouch appoint as Coach and Ejaz ullin as Manager of Sindh Women Netball team.

Men team: Hammod ur Rehman (Capain), Shaz Ghouri (Vice Captain), Ali Raza, Ghazanfar, M Khawar, M Owais, Hasal Ali, Hammad Khan, Harri and Areeb Ahmed while Mansoor Baig nominated as Coach and Ejaz uddin as Manager of Sindh Men Netball Team.

Pakistan Netball Elite Acadmey also announced the Elite Netball Team for National Netball Championship 2018.The team: Shehzeen Fatima, Arshiya Jumani, Insia Fazal, Yumna Sultani, Umaima Muneeb, Mahreen Sagar, Deena Zahid, Ghaniya Azhar, Syed Zanib Raheel, Laiba Zulfiqar and Coach Naseen Sagar.
