MINGORA: The speakers at Pakistan Zindabad Movement (PZM) rally here on Saturday vowed to foil bids to sabotage peace in the region.
Addressing the rally at the Grassy Ground here, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Fazl Hakim Khan, Swat Traders president Abdur Rahim, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Jalat Khan Gujjar, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Saadullah Khan and others said that the people of Swat would support those who would talk of peace as they were fed up with violence and terrorism.
They said that RAW and other foreign agencies were involved in terrorism in Pakistan in which a large number of innocent people were killed.
They vowed to fight against those who were making conspiracies against Pakistan. They alleged that Manzoor Pashteen’s mission was to promote the interest of Afghanistan. “His one is Afghanistan Tahafuz Movement and not Pashtun Tahafuz Movement,” said one of the speakers. All ethnic groups in Pakistan have the same rights, they said, adding, that army had defeated terrorism in Swat. “The forces purged the region of terrorists. We will not allow a conspiracy against them,” he went on to add.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
