Our streets aren’t safe

The police authorities that oversee Gulshan-e-Iqbal must take action to curb the rise in street crimes in the region. Most criminals are active at night and rob people of their valuables. This has evoked fear among residents and many of them tend to remain indoors after 8pm.

The sudden rise in street crimes has created alarm. The authorities concerned should take notice of this issue. Police vans should patrol the area after dark. Prompt action should be taken to resolve the matter before it escalates further.
