Five shot dead in Muridke

SHEIKHUPURA: Five persons, including three of the same family, were killed in an attack in Taar Bazaar Haddoke, Muridke, in the limits of City police station on Monday. According to police, an altercation was held between Jajji Butt group and Shah group over a minor issue a couple of days back. “To teach a lesson to their opponents”, members of the Jajji group opened fire on Shah group on Monday. As a result, Qaisar Shah, son of Raza Shah, Irfan Shah, son of Qaisar Shah, Arshan Haider, son of Raza Shah, Amir son of Raza Ali and Irfan son of Rasheed sustained serious injuries. They were shifted to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Taking notice of the incident, DPO Sarfraz Khan Virk constituted a team to arrest the accused.
