NAB orders several inquiries
PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has authorised a number of inquiries.
NAB KP Director General Farmanullah Khan chaired the regional board meeting, which took the decisions.
Directors, deputy prosecutor general (DPGA), case officers and others attended the meeting, said a press release.
The board authorised an inquiry against employees of the Tourism Corporation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and others about alleged corruption and corrupt practices. The subjects are alleged to have made illegal appointments in Tourism Corporation KP in gross violation of laws.
The board also authorised an inquiry against district education officer (female) Dera Ismail Khan and others about alleged corruption and illegal appointments, for allegedly making illegal appointments.
