The education sector in Balochistan is in the doldrums. Hundreds of teachers who are drawing salaries are actually ghost employees who have not once entered the premises of schools. In addition, a large number of teacher remain absent from schools during a major part of the school year.
It is shocking that despite these irregularities, the provincial government is not taking any step against it. It is time the authorities took immediate action against such irregularities and saved the future of students in Balochistan.
