ISLAMABAD: Road accidents claimed ten lives while five sustained injuries in two separate mishaps in Sindh on Friday.
According to motorway police, three persons were killed and two other sustained injuries when a car coming from Shikarpur to Shahdadpur overturned at National Highway in Hingorja.
In another collision, seven people were killed and three other injured when an over-speeding car hit a truck and caught fire after colliding with another car near Lonni Kot in Hyderabad, Radio Pakistan reported.
A speeding car hit a truck and afterwards collided with a Toyota Surf, as a result of collision the CNG cylinder in the car exploded. Three persons travelling in Toyota Surf sustained injuries and were shifted to a nearby hospital.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
