Civilian injured as Indian troops open fire at LoC

MUZAFFARABAD: A 55-year-old man was injured when Indian troops resorted to fire across the Line of Control (LoC) in Battal Sector in Poonch district of Azad Kashmir on Friday.The person, Noor Hameed was digging grave for a minor girl, who died of injuries due to Indian firing two days earlier, when he came under firing.

The local administration said Noor Hameed received bullets in his leg and was shifted to hospital. The funeral of the girl, Amna Miskeen was offered later in the evening and was laid to rest.
