Swimming training camp commences today

LAHORE: Sports Board Punjab, under the directives of Secretary Sports Punjab Muhammad Aamir Jan, is going to organize a high-profile swimming training and coaching camp for beginners at State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex from April 20 to May 15, 2018.

The arrangements of swimming training and coaching camp were reviewed in an important meeting held under the chairmanship of Director Admin Javed Chohan on Thursday.Deputy Director Hafeez Bhatti, SBP consultant Shahid Faqir, Manager Punjab International Swimming Complex Sohaib Gull, Dr Abdullah Shafiq (SBP doctor), Adnan Javed (coordinator), Maisam Abbas (IT incharge), female head coach Khadija, Maryam Anwar head women wing, Maria (coach), Faiza Aleem (coach), Naila Riaz (coach) and other officials of Sports Board Punjab attended the meeting. Addressing the meeting Director Admin Javed Chohan said the swimming training and coaching camp for beginners is being organized on the instructions of Secretary Sports Punjab Aamir Jan to groom the talented swimmers at the State of the Art Punjab International Swimming Complex.

“Fresh swimming talent will emerge after this camp in which top level expert coaches and consultants will impart modern swimming training to swimmers of 5 to 16 years age through video analysis and advanced drills. These potential swimmers will represent Pakistan at international level,” he added. Director Admin Javed Chohan said that the timing of the course will be 5.00pm to 7.00pm from Monday to Friday.
