ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Under-16s were bowled out cheaply as Australia took 2-0 lead winning by nine wickets in the second encounter of five-match one-day series being played in Melbourne. Pakistan managed just 59 runs before being bowled out for 59 in 19.3 overs. T Sangha (4-12) and M Herbet (3-23) were the successful Australia bowlers. Australia hit the winning target for the loss of just one wicket. B Larance (40 not out) played well for the home side. Earlier, for Pakistan Mubashir Nawaz (0), Saim Ayub (11), Umar Eman (17), Hasan Abid Kiyani (5), Samir Saqib (3) all disappointed as Pakistan were bowled out for low total.
Scores: Pakistan 59 all out in 19.3 overs (Umar Eman 17, T Sangha 4-12, M Herbet 3-23). Australia 60 for one in 12.2 overs (B Larance 40*).
