Islamabad: In another massive progress by CIA team and CIA-Lab traced and arrested a 6-member dacoit gang involved in firing on a police constable.
An FIR No 186/17 US 324/353/7 ATA was lodged against them in Golra Police Station for firing on Constable, Saleem. The accused have been identified as Aizaz Gul, Muhammad Arshad, Liaqat Hussain, Liaquat Khan, Suhail Khan and Sajjad Muhammad.
Police also recovered 2 stolen motorcycles, one 30 bore pistol along with 4 bullets, 2 snatched mobile phones and a dagger from the gang.
During the course of investigation they admitted to committing several dacoities and mobile snatching incidents in the areas of Tarnol, Shamas Colony, Golra, Sabzi Mandi police stations. Further investigation is under way.
