Wajihuzzaman vows to sue Imran over horse-trading allegations

MANSEHRA: Refuting the allegations of vote-selling allegations, Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Wajihuzzaman Khan on Thursday vowed to take Imran Khan to the court of law.

"I consider politics as worship and never ever used this platform to earn money illegally and I am going to court for false allegations levelled against me by PTI chairman Imran Khan," Wajihuzzaman told reporters in Oghi on Thursday.

Wajihuzzaman, who recently joined Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, said that he had developed differences with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on principles and that to him, politics means serving people without any greed. "Imran Khan is cordoned off by those are directly involved in horse-trading in the Senate election but he is not ready to hear the truth and is levelling baseless allegations against others," he added. He said that when he was having nothing to do with PTI, why Khan was pointing the finger at him. He said the PTI chairman should first start accountability of his own lawmakers and then criticise others. "I have asked my counsel to approach court against the baseless allegations by PTI chairman against me," he added.
