Road blocked in Karak to protest power cut

KARAK: The elders of Ghundi Mir Khankhel on Tuesday staged a protest against the disconnections of electricity and unscheduled loadshedding. They blocked the Karak-Sabirabad road for several hours to register anger. Led by Tehsil councillor Maulana Ismail Haqqani, the protesters gathered on Karak-Sabirabad road where they blocked it for traffic at Kamran Shaheed Chowk. On the occasion, the speakers, including Maulana Muhammad Ismail Haqqani, Watan Badshah and others claimed that in first phase they would close the educational institutions.
