LAHORE: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani on Monday said he had great respect for Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi whom he considered as his elder brother and thus could say anything.
Sanjrani was talking to media during his visit to the mausoleum of Allama Iqbal. Abbasi some days ago in a speech had stated that the newly-elected Senate chairman had no respect because his victory was a result of horse trading.
The Senate chairman said he had not so far made any decision which could upset or might be disliked by anyone. During his first visit to Lahore after assuming the office of Senate chairman, Sanjrani laid a floral wreath at the mausoleum. Later, he also paid a visit to Data Darbar to pay homage to the great Sufi saint.
