Citizens throng to Bahria Town on Super Highway as three-day family festival begins
Families take pleasure, marvel swift development work at ongoing projects

KARACHI: Family festival at Bahria Town Super Highway has begun. Senior Director Bahria Town, Hamid Ilyas cut the tape to formally inaugurate the festival, which will continue from March 20 to March 23 in connection with the Pakistan Day celebrations. Approved dealers of Bahria Town have arranged the festivities.
The families also viewed the large scale developments and also enjoyed the festival. Food stalls, fashion shows, kids and kite mela, fireworks at night were additional segments. There was also a concert at night in which RDB and Pappoo Sain performed.
The speciality of the festival are the stalls set up by approved dealers of Bahria Town, where members of Bahria Town are being apprised about the residential project of international standard.
Speaking to the members the estate dealers said no other hosing scheme in the country has such provided facilities. They said the infrastructure is according to international standard. They said when Malik Riaz decides to take up any project he completes it. Bahria is also rendering services in the social sector, they said.
The dealers said the four-day festival aims at making people conscious of the benefits of Bahria Town project, which provided ample opportunity of jobs, while the business of the people in the vicinity of the project also prospered.
There will be performance of Atif Aslam on the second day of the festival. Sara and Raza and Ali Azmat on Sunday and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will be there on March 23. Film actor Saud, Raabi Pirzada and Riaz Kamal will also attend the festival.
