LAHORE: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd employees Monday observed pen-down strike and protested against government’s plan to bifurcate the gas utility company. SNGPL Employees Union members organised the protests, which were held on Kashmir Road outside the company’s head office and regional office in Gulberg. Employees criticised government’s move, terming it anti-employee step. The speakers said Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd is earning profit and is considered a professionally-run company. There is no need to split it into two parts.
