ZTBL script 304-run win against CDA

ISLAMABAD: ZTBL achieved yet another big win this time by 304 runs against CDA at Pindi Stadium Saturday to top their group in the Patron’s Trophy Grade II.

CDA were bowled out for 168 with Mohammad Ali taking five for 41. Tauseef Abbasi (42) turned out to be the highest run getter for CDA. Earlier, ZTBL declared their second innings close at 210 for 3 with Shakeel Ansar (101 not out) hitting century.

Set to score 472 for win, CDA were bowled out for 168.

Scores in brief: ZTBL 445-4 in 83 overs: (Saad Ullah Ghauri 180, Mohsin Nadeem 128, Umar Khan 2-76) 210 for 3 in 40.4 overs: (Shakeel Ansar 101 not out, Azam Khan 2-34)

CDA 183-10 in 63.1 overs: (Naved Malik 92, Hamza Nadeem 5-54, Muhammad Ali 2-22, Bilawal Iqbal 2-25) and 168 all out in 40,5 overs (Touseef Abbasi 42, Mohammad Ali 5-41).
