Khushal takes lead in amateur golf

PESHAWAR: Khushal Khan took lead as 3rd edition of the Asghar Khan Memorial National Amateur Golf Championship started here at the PAF Golf Course on Friday.
Khushal carded par 36 with four birdies and a bogey to claim lead while Inayat Ullah Yousafzai carded 37, hitting three birdies. He missed strokes at holes Nos 1, 2, 5, 9 and 15.Squadron leader Ihsan Ilahi carded a two under Net 70. Shayan Yousafzai scored seven under 65 in HCP 13-18.
Earlier, the opening ceremony of the championship was held at the PAF Golf Course where Air Officer Commanding Northern Air Command Air Vice Marshal Sarfaraz Khan was the chief guest.As many as 150 golfers from across the country are participating in the event.
