ANP leader joins PPP

ISLAMABAD: Former President of Pakistan and Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians President Asif Ali Zardari said that the PPP has given an identity to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by giving the name of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to the province and sovereignty and NFC award.
He said this while talking to former member of Awami National Party Malik Ijaz Khan, who called on him and announced to join the PPP at Zardari House, Islamabad, on Friday. Malik Ijaz Khan was also a ticket holder of the ANP from Mardan. Zardari said that the PPP always aims to eliminate poverty, unemployment and ignorance. “The people of KP have suffered the most due to extremism, the former president said.”
