1,700 Sikh yatrees arrive

LAHORE: More than 1,700 Sikh yatrees arrived in Lahore through Wagah Railway Station Thursday to participate in the Baisakhi Festival.
Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Secretary Muhammad Tariq Wazir and Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Pardhan Sardar Tara Singh welcomed the Sikh pilgrims at Wagah.
Muhammad Tariq Wazir said arrangements for the celebrations of the festival have been finalised by the board and assured that ETPB will provide foolproof security, transport, accommodation and other facilities to the pilgrims. The devotees left for Punja Sahib, Hassan Abdal where they will stay at Gurdwara Panja Sahib.
