KARACHI: Dr Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, Chairman FPCCI standing committee on banking, credit and finance has been appointed on Tuesday on the board of directors of the Industrial Credit Advisory Committee (ICAC) of the State Bank of Pakistan for 2018.Dr Baig has rich international banking experience and has been representing the apex body of trade and industry of Pakistan on the SBP for the last many years. The Industrial Credit Advisory Committee of the State Bank is a forum to discuss private sector, credit of the various sectors and other banking-related issues of the business community.Dr Baig’s inclusion in the board of directors will help boost export and industrial activities in the manufacturing sector.
