MANSEHRA: The Awami National Party workers convention held in its stronghold of Torghar district has exposed the internal rifts as it failed to make it a power show. The convention held in Mera Madakhail, once a stronghold of the ANP, could not pull a big crowd as was claimed by former MNA Laiq Mohammad Khan. The disgruntled group led by the provincial vice-president Nimroz Khan, who is against award of ticket to Laiq from PK-35 Torghar for the coming general election, didn’t show up at the convention addressed by provincial secretary general Sardar Hussain Babak.
