PCB refers Jamshed’s case to Anti-Corruption Tribunal

KARACHI: Cricketer Nasir Jamshed has rejected the charges levelled against him by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), following which the Board has referred the case to its Anti-Corruption Tribunal.
Jamshed has been charged with violations of the PCB’s Anti-Corruption Code Articles 2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4 and 2.4.4. “Chairman PCB, exercising powers conferred upon him under the PCB Anti-Corruption Code for Participants, has referred the matter for adjudication to an Anti-Corruption Tribunal comprising Chairman Justice (R) Fazal-e-Miran Chauhan and members Shahzaib Masood (ASC) and Aqib Javed, a former cricketer,” the PCB announced in a media release.“The PCB remains resilient in its fight against corruption in cricket,” the release added
