Siraj for raising voice against Indian brutality Writes to PM, COAS

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has written a letter to PrimeMinister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Army Chief Gen Bajwa,warning that if the genocide of Kashmiris by Indian troops was not stopped immediately, a big human tragedy may occur in the held Valley. He asked the government to raise strong voice against Indian brutalities at the world level and convene an OIC meeting to discuss the issue. He demanded the prime minister call a Kashmir conference and invite leadership of Hurriyat Conference and Azad Kashmir government. He said a joint session of the parliament should be called to discuss the grim situation in the valley. He said that a strong diplomatic campaign against India should be launched and delegations comprising competent people should be sent to different countries for lobbying against India. He said extremist Hindu organisationswere also involved in the killing of the Kashmir as they were of the view that all those raising the slogan of Pakistan had no right to live in Kashmir. Appreciating government’s announcement to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day on April 5, Sirajul Haq urged the nation to express its total solidarity with their Kashmiri brethrenwith one voice. Meanwhile, addressing a gathering of youth, JI Secretary General Liaqat Baloch said the worst form of oppression was going on in Held Kashmir under the reign of PrimeMinisterModi whowas known as a beast in the guise of a human being. He said Indian troops’ brutalities could not suppress Kashmiris’ struggle and theirmovement for the right of self determination. He said entire Pakistani nation was protesting against the Indian atrocities and would express its complete solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri brethren on April 5 and 6. He was confident that the MMA would play a key role in national politics in the days ahead
