Pak baseball officials reach HK to attend WBSC seminar

LAHORE: World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has invited Baseball Technical Officials of Pakistan for the participation in WBSC International Technical Officials Seminar for Baseball 2018 in Hong Kong.

Syed Fakhar Ali Shah, President Pakistan Federation Baseball, informed that World Baseball Softball Confederation has invited baseball umpires and technical officials from Pakistan to participate in WBSC International Technical Officials Seminar for Baseball 2018 in Hong Kong. “The seminar will remain continue till April 4, 2018”. Technical officials from China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are participating in this seminar. The following officials of Pakistan are participating in the seminar: Zafar Hussain, International Baseball Umpire; Mudassar Ali, Umpire; Wasim Zahid, Technical Commissioner and Imran Majeed Khan, Technical Commissioner. The seminar will be supervised by Gustavo Rodriguez of USA for umpires and Jim Baba from Canada for Technical Commissioners as well as Nippon professional Baseball Umpire (NPB) and Umpire Supervisor Takeshi Hirabayashi (Japan).
