While travelling on Rawal Road on Thursday night (Mar 29), I witnessed a tragic accident. Three boys were having a motorcycle race in the middle of the road. Flouting traffic rules, these boys kept looking back and before they knew it they hit a huge truck that was parked along the road. I said a prayer for them and hoped that they were safe. Both motorcyclists sustained severe injuries.
What happened that night is, unfortunately, a common occurrence. Parents should also be careful and educate their children regarding the importance of traffic rules. We should discourage motorcyclists from carrying out such dangerous stunts in the middle of busy roads. Our mistakes can lead to irreparable losses.
