Arrest of robbers demanded

KARAK: The Ajuman Tajiran-e-Karak demanded the police to arrest the accused involved in the broad daylight robbery of jewellers in Karak city.
Press secretary of the traders’ association, Iqbal Khattak, told the media persons here after a meeting with the district police officer Karak, Furqan Bilal. He said armed masked robbers made hostage three jewelers of three shops for quite some time and snatched 120 tola gold and about Rs250,000 cash from the jewelers. Iqbal Khattak said the jewelers have shops in the main city near Sabzi Mandi and the robbers managed to escape safely after committing the crime.
