Food fiesta concludes
Islamabad: A week-long fiesta that concluded here on Friday provided an ample opportunity for the local and foreign people to enjoy a variety of foods ranging from local, Chinese and continental to the Western hemispheres.
The fiesta featured a wide and diversified line-up of local, regional as well as international eating establishments in warm and dynamic environment identified as the ultimate showcase of the food industry in Pakistan.
The food stalls were specifically arranged for local and foreigners along with ‘desi’ and other fast food items. The final match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was also screened live during the event, which was attended by huge number of cricket lovers. Mehak, a holidaymaker, lauded the efforts to arrange the event where all types of food items were available under one roof, adding “Live music was also one of the best parts of the festival.”
