Aleem appears before NAB
LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan on Thursday appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and recorded his statement regarding a probe into his housing society.
According to a NAB official, Aleem Khan was questioned how he was allegedly selling unapproved plots of the housing society. NAB also sought approved layout of the society. The PTI leader is also under probe for allegedly establishing an offshore company named in the Panama Papers.
Kaira: PPP central Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira has said the party will field strong candidates from Punjab in general elections. Addressing a meeting of PPP Gujranwala division, Kaira said the party still had strong roots in Punjab and would contest polls with full preparation.
