LAHORE: Golden Eagles beat Totally Cricket by 7 wickets in the 19th National Seniors Cricket Cup match played here at Cricket Centre Ground Model Town.
Scores: Totally Cricket 173/8 after 30 overs (Film Star Shan Shahid 67*. Khurram Afzal 38, Atif Ranjha 21, Abdul Khaliq 16. Former Test Cricketer Ali Naqvi 3/24). In reply Golden Eagles 176/3 after 28.3 overs (Rizwan Aslam 60*, M Salman Khan 30, Ali Naqvi 31, Shahid Mansoor 15, M Shahbaz 33*. Saghir Ahmad, Raza Asghar were umpires and Muhammad Arif was the scorer.
In the end captain Golden Eagles Salman Khan gave away cash award to Manzoor Ali Arif for his 51 years services for the promotion of sports. CEO PVCA Nawab Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, film star Shan Shahid, Amer Ilyas Butt, Test cricketer Saleem Elahi, Atif Ranjha, Zubair Butt and Waleed Yaqoob were also present there.
