Peace rally in North Waziristan

The participants were carrying the party flags and banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favour of peace. The participants were riding bikes, three-wheelers and other vehicles. The rally started from Miranshah, the administrative headquarters of NWA, and culminated at Mir Ali subdivision. Potential PTI candidate for National Assembly seat Malik Naik Muhammad was leading the rally.
Malik Naik Muhammad said that holing of the rally was aimed at giving the message to the international community that tribespeople were peaceful and that peace had been restored to the NWA.
He criticised Member National Assembly Muhammad Nazir Khan, saying the lawmaker did nothing for the welfare of the people of his constituency-elect.
