SWABI: Director General Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Mutasimbillah has said that the Burns and Trauma Centre in Hayatabad would be completed in the given time.
Talking to journalists here on Saturday, he said that the centre would be built at 20-kanal land adjacent to Hayatabad Medical Complex. He said that construction work on the project continued and he inspected the site three days ago.
He said the centre would comprise 120 beds and the total cost of the centre is Rs1767 million. Of the total 120 beds, 60 were for the burn patients and 60 for victims of trauma.
The official said the project was very important for the people of the province and no delaying tactics would be tolerated.
“We want the timely completion of this project, which would facilitate patients from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he added.
He said the Communication and Works Department officials have also been told to monitor the construction work and any problem should be discussed with the officials and project execution authority.
