PESHAWAR: The City University of Science and Information Technology, Peshawar, organised a two-day event “Marketing Mania” that highlighted the entrepreneurial skills of the students.
Hafsa Sadia, a lecturer at the Department of Management Sciences and In-charge of Entrepreneur Society of the university, and her team members put in great efforts in the event to bring forward students entrepreneurial skills.
Young startups exhibited own products and which received high appreciation from the university’s Vice- Chancellor, Prof Dr Attaullah Shah, and distinguished visitors.
Students not only showcased their products but also competed with each other for the awards.
Home-made bakery items, dresses, beauty products, dairy farm products, photography, decoration items, etc attracted the visitors. It proved that students had great potential to present business ideas and market them with good entrepreneurial skills.
Mashkoor Ahmad, a leading businessman from Peshawar and co-owner, Khyber Lamps, visited various stalls as the guest of honour and motivated the young talent.
A team of judges evaluated and awarded students products at the closing ceremony of the event.
