PML-N provincial bodies directed to call general councils meetings in one month
By Ayub Nasir
ISLAMABAD: The provincial organisations of the PML-N have been given one month time to call meetings of the general councils for elections of their provincial presidents.
Dr. Asif Kirmani, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, said that due to indisposition of the PML-N President Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, the nomination of the central office bearers has been facing delay. “On his return from London, the process of party organisation will be completed,” he said.
From Balochistan, either Sanaullah Zahri or Saidan Nasir will be elected as president; Asad Junejo is favourite candidate from Sindh while Amir Muqam will be elected as provincial head from KP.
The provincial head for Punjab will be elected from Hamza Shahbaz, Rafiq Rajwana or Rana Sanaullah. The party elections in AJK and Gilgit Baltistan will also be held within the next one month.
