Athletics trials on March 31 in Islamabad

KARACHI: Athletics Federation of Pakistan (AFP) is going to hold trials at the Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Complex, Islamabad, on March 31 to pick athletes for the 3rd South Asian Junior Athletics Championships and 18th Asian Junior Athletics Championships.
The trials will begin at 8am.For men, trials will be conducted in 100m, 200m, 400m, 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles, 1000m, long jump, high jump and javelin throw.
The trials for women will be held in 100m and 200m.The South Asian Championships will be held in Colombo in May and the Asian Championships will be staged in Gifu city of Japan in June.
