KARACHI: Targaryens United recorded a convincing 3-0 victory against Iqbal Memorial to top the table with 20 points in the ongoing Leisure Leagues Season III here at Karachi United Football Stadium.
Mohammad Talha scored two goals, while Osama scored one. Iqbal Memorial are in the fifth spot with eight points.In another match of the eight-team league, Joga Bonito thrashed En Fuego by 2-0. Mohammad Mustafa scored both goals. Joga Bonito occupy the fourth position, having secured 16 points.
En Fuego stand seventh with seven points.Liverpool FC jumped to the second position with 18 points and Façade FC to the third position with 17 points after the two teams received walkover against KDA FC and Escobar FC, respectively.
In another eight-team Premier League underway at Sixteen Star Ground, North Muslim defeated The Vikings by 2-0. Ali Shah scored both the goals.In another match, RF United thrashed FC Evolution by 4-0. Faizan scored twice while Zain and Saad scored one each.
With these wins, RF United and North Muslim have accumulated 13 points each but RF United have topped the table with better goal average. The Vikings are in sixth position with five points. FC Evolution are eighth with only three points.Zaim FC and Sir Syed FC received walkovers. Sir Syed FC jumped to the third spot with 10 points. Zaim FC occupy the fourth position with nine points.
