A 20-year-old youth was found dead in the Badami Bagh area on Sunday.
Some locals spotted the body of a young boy lying near Farooq Chowk, Badami Bagh and informed the police.
Police claimed that the boy, yet to be identified, looked an addict who might have died of excessive use of drugs. Police shifted the body to morgue.
SUSPENDED: CCPO Lahore Sunday suspended the Nishtar Colony SHO Mohammad Akmal for poor performance. He directed the SHO to report to Police Lines.
ARRESTED: Punjab Highway Patrol arrested 56 persons on various charges. PHP arrested four kidnappers and recovered an abducted person from their possession, arrested two robbers and seven others following recovery of stolen timber worth Rs853,000 and 610kg unhygienic meat.
PHP arrested 12 for carrying illicit arms, 10 drug pushers, six rustlers and 15 others on the charges of using liquor.
