OKARA: A lady teacher of a primary school, Basirpur, allegeldy broke the arm of a class 1 student on Friday. Abdul Latif, father of the student, has demanded the chief minister and the education authorities to take legal action against the lady teacher and the school staff. Five-year-old Moazzam Jahangir of Mohallah Sheikhupura was asked by his teacher Nargis Rani to recite the lesson which he could not able to do so. The teacher got infuriated and badly beat the boy which broke his arm. When Abdul Latif reached school to inquire about the incident, the headmaster and the lady teacher utterly refused of doing so. However, Abdul Latif obtained the medicolegal report from the DHQ Hospital, Okara and submitted applications to all the authorities concerned for taking legal action against the school headmaster M Shafiq and teacher Nargis Rani.
