Plastic and pollution

The damage that is done to the environment is the fault of both the relevant authorities and the people. Our carelessness is harming the environment. While we blame the government for unattended mounds of garbage, we are equally responsible for not disposing of waste, including used plastic bottles, in waste bins.

Plastic which is dumped in rivers greatly contributes to ocean pollution. It is time we looked into recycling methods in order to reduce the waste. It is our responsibility to maintain the health of the planet.
