NAB begins chasing more bureaucrats, politicians
ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal on Friday ordered the complaint verification against Sindh Minister for Industries Manzoor Wasan and Special Assistant to Chief Minister Pehlaj Mal for accumulating assets beyond means.
While another complaint verification was also ordered against PML-N MNA Sardar Jaffar Khan Leghari allegedly for illegal occupation of 2,425 Kanal land at Mouzah Chandia. These decisions were taken in a meeting of the NAB which was held under NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal here on Friday. The NAB chairman also ordered complaint verification against ex-chief secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amjad Ali Khan allegedly for awarding illegal contract of Korag Canal project and cutting and selling of Shisham timber.
He also ordered compliant verification against Special Assistant to Sindh Chief Minister, Pehlaj Mal and Imtiaz Mallah for accumulating assets beyond means.
