Dacoits injure man after looting Rs300,000

HAFIZABAD: Two dacoits shot at and injured a man after looting Rs 300,000 from him near Chak Chattha on Tuesday.
Tasawar of Nokhar was on his way when the dacoits intercepted him and looted cash from him.
They also shot at and injured him on resistance. The injured man was shifted to a hospital. The police are investigating.
Five of a family faint after taking poisonous food: Five members of a family fell unconscious after taking poisonous food at Nothay village on Tuesday.
Rashma, the wife of Muhammad Ramzan, brought some food from bazaar. When she and her children, Nasreen, Samina and Sajjad, took the food they fell unconscious. They were rushed to a local hospital. The police are investigating.
