MANSEHRA: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and Earthquake Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Authority (ERRA) finally handed over allotment letters of 300 plots in New Balakot City to 2005 earthquake survivors' families of red zone in Balakot on Tuesday.
"The credit for this milestone achievement goes to Chief Minister Pervez Khattak, who constituted a committee which makes survivor families dream come true and finally started issuing allotment letters to them," Babar Saleem Swati, the district president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) told a ceremony in Balakot on Tuesday.
The regional president in Hazara Zargul Khan, the focal person of 11-member committee and ex-MPA Mazhar Ali Qasim and Maulana Qazi Khalil Ahmad also addressed the gathering, which was organized to hand over allotment letters.
According to the CTD spokesman, the two were attempting to enter Punjab from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
