Pakistan team for CW Games to be named today

KARACHI: The two-day trials for the selection of Pakistan senior team for the Commonwealth Games started here at Abdul Sattar Edhi Stadium on Sunday.
The team will be announced on Monday (today).The selection committee, including chairman Islahuddin, was present on the occasion. The team management divided the probable players in the training camp into two teams and organised a match between them. Different combinations of the players were formed during the match.
Pakistan team is going to participate in the Commonwealth Games in Australia next month. PHF president Brig (rtd) Khalid Khokhar and secretary Shahbaz Ahmed are likely to see the second day’s trials.
