PFDC’s three-day fashion week starts

LAHORE: A three-day fashion week organised by the Pakistan Fashion Design Council (PFDC) and Sunsilk started here on Friday.

On the first day, two shows were held. At the inaugural show, fashion designer Hira Ali presented costumes with a new trend that fascinated the audience. Earlier, designers Zonia Anwaar, Hamza Bokhari, Akif Mehmood, Sania Maskatia, Arjumand Bano, Hussain Rehaar and Reema Malik presented their traditional and modern collections. Fashion designer Kamyaar Rokni introduced Pail Craft Design Show.

In her address, PFDC Chairperson Sehyr Saigol said: “We have been making untiring efforts to turn fashion into business for the last 12 years. We have been providing opportunities to new fashion designers for corporate marketing. We are not only promoting entrepreneurship but also portraying Pakistan’s soft image to the world.”
