Women in Business Festival on Sunday

Islamabad: This year to mark the celebration of International Women day, IWCCI & Womenx are organising WIB Fest celebrating women in Business.

The event will take place on March 11, 2018 at Lok Vira Islamabad. As IWCCI aim is to encourage women entrepreneurs and many of them are involved in home based businesses this event will help them to market their product to number of visitors, We have women coming from twin cities, Lahore, Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Sailkot, Peshawar, Mardan and Faisalabad.

These women are involved in creative businesses and are also service providers. As women businesses are almost impossible if their counterparts and children doesn’t support them so making this event a family event will have fun filled activities for kids and also different food display by these women entrepreneurs other than conventional products. This event will also encourage young women in business.

While talking to this scribe Samina Fazil, Founder President IWCCI said that such events generate economic activity, encourage women led businesses as national prosperity is closely linked to the success of its women. “We are hoping that people from twin cities will visit and they will get to see different creative product under one umbrella,” she said. Reem Abbasi President, IWCCI mentioned that enabling women to market their products and help them discover new opportunities, get connected and show their talent is our goal.
