ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that successful holding of Senate election is victory of the whole nation and democratic process in the country.
Talking to the state-run TV on Sunday, she said timely conduct of Senate election was top priority of the government. She said it was not only the victory of the PML-N, but the democratic people of Pakistan.
Marriyum said the PTI chairman’s non-participation in Senate election exposed how much he loves democracy in the country. Talking about performance of the government, she said 11,000MW electricity has been added to the national grid due to which loadshedding in the country has reduced to a great extent.
