Grant of monthly stipend to prayer leaders in KP approved

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak on Wednesday approved the grant of monthly stipend to prayer leaders of mosques of all categories proposed in the summary.
A handout said the chief minister accorded the approval at a meeting of the provincial cabinet. Members of the provincial cabinet, additional chief secretary and administrative secretaries attended the meeting. At the moment, the relevant forum had received 20699 documents of prayers leaders, qualifying for the monthly stipend. The chief minister directed to open the process for accumulation of total data of the prayer leaders, fulfilling the criteria in order to include them for the stipend.
