Ali overpowers Danish in IC Trophy match

KARACHI: Mohammad Ali overpowered Danish Raza to move into the second round of the 8th IC Trophy (a ranking tennis championship) at Union Club here on Sunday. In the first round of under-17 singles, Ali beat Danish 4-6, 6-2, 10-8. In another match, Mazhar Hayat won against Taha Aman 6-2, 6-4.

In the under-13 singles, Ibrahim Noman beat Sarim 6-1, 6-1; Zain Eatasham beat Tehreem Yousuf 6-1, 6-1; and Abdullah Imran beat Xainia Malik 6-0, 6-2.
