Man who failed to get wife’s killer nabbed can’t serve masses: Asif
SIALKOT: Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Asif has said how can a person, who failed to nab the killer of his wife during five years of his rule, resolve the problems of the masses. Talking to media persons here, Khawaja Asif said Nawaz Sharif was still ruling the hearts of the masses after being disqualified by the Supreme Court. He said people still consider Nawaz Sharif a great leader of the country, who put Pakistan on path to development, prosperity and political and economic stability.
The minister said Pakistan always wanted to have peaceful relations with its neighbours, but the neighbours were not giving positive response to Pakistan’s peace initiatives. He said the neighbours, both India and Afghanistan, were using their land for spreading terrorism in Pakistan. He said Pakistan will continue its pivotal role for establishing durable peace in the region.
