PU students win
Punjab University students participated in various competitions organised at different institutions and won prominent positions. Punjab University students including Yasir Waseem and Rukh-e-Noor got second positions in Urdu humorous debate and English serious debate competition respectively in All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation Contest.
In Poster competition, on ‘Prevention of drug use tendencies in educational institutions’ organised by Punjab University in collaboration with Higher Education Department, Waqas Liaqat, Muhamamd Junaid Asif and Aqsa got first, second and third positions respectively. In SISA International Debating and Public Speaking Championship 2018 organised by School of International Science and Arts (SISA) the students including Ghulam Muhayyi-ud-Din Nizami was declared winner in Urdu parliamentary debate, Masooma Fatima got English best speaker, English interpretive reading award and runners-up in impromptu award and Aleem Zafar in English parliamentary debate.
